Session Guide

3rd Edition Revised

The AF-CBT Session Guide 3rd Edition Revised outlines the comprehensive, step-by-step, evidence-based approach of AF-CBT over 274 pages divided into 17 topics. It includes handouts for caregivers and children in the back of each topic, which can be photocopied or printed and used in activities outlined in the guide.

A preview of the session guide is provided below. The full session guide is made available to AF-CBT learners as part of AF-CBT training.

Thanks to Eunice Torres and Samantha Walker for their assistance in translating the session guide to Spanish. Due to an increasing number of requests for AF-CBT materials in Spanish, we have translated much of our AF-CBT Session Guide for use with Spanish-speaking caregivers. We prioritized translating the caregiver sessions based on clinician feedback and will begin working soon on translating the child-only sessions.
