Naval Base San Diego Family Advocacy Program Delivers AF-CBT

CAP Supervisor David McWhirter along with clinicans Anna Santangelo, April Gonzalez, Dawn Boyes, and Regi Abraham from San Diego are part of the first Navy affiliated service to deliver AF-CBT to families referred for child physical abuse, parental anger/aggression, and child behavior problems. The team is also helping to adapt the model for application to a wide range of eligible military families and has provided input on the use of novel synchronous and asynchronous training and consultation methods. The entire AF-CBT faculty are very proud to work collaboratively with this and several other FAP programs in the U.S. and Japan.
